Health Check 

Kindergarten Health Checks are conducted in all ACT primary schools throughout the year by ACT Health. These checks are in line with the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing, Healthy Kids Check.

Registered Nurses employed by ACT Health will conduct these checks at the schoo., which will include vision, hearing, height, weight and development. The health check is not intended to replace your child’s normal health care. 

An information package will be sent home from school at the beginning of the year to obtain your consent and explain what is involved. Further detail including information links can be found at ACT Health Website.
